Wow, what a relief! If even the best writers have to erase it must mean they made an error. I feel comforted by the idea that even the most successful people are human and make mistakes. I make mistakes all of the time. How about you? Sometimes when we make a mistake we can feel like the whole world noticed and we can feel judged and ashamed.
However, mistakes can really work to our advantage! If we start to change the word "mistake" in our head to "learning experience" we can get the best of a valuable lesson. This is true of small mistakes and HUGE mistakes. What if we said instead, I had a small learning experience...or I have just had a HUGE learning experience. Learning experiences tend to repeat themselves until we get the lesson. Is there a "mistake" that keeps repeating in your life? What is the learning experience you are being given?
